Not just any man has the bearing to become a Sigma Nu.
Sigma Nu is the only Honor Fraternity Our founders at Virginia Military Institute lived by a code of Honor. The Honor system at VMI requires each cadet to conform to the duty imposed by his conscience that each act be governed by a high sense of Honor.
We were the first Fraternity to be founded upon this honor principle. When lived out in the bonds of fraternal brotherhood, the Honor principle brings a level of integrity and excellence that is uncommon in the world today.
Since our founding, Sigma Nu Fraternity has initiated over 230,000 Knights into the Legion of Honor and established over 275 chapters and colonies across North America. Clearly, this precedent of Honor created by our founders over 145 years ago has changed thousands of lives.
Does it have the ability to change your life, too? Sigma Nu seeks members who have a serious purpose in life, as well as an ambition to succeed in whatever they do. Sigma Nu offers a collegiate experience that will further his ambition and ability to succeed during his time in school as well as his experience that will come following his collegiate career.
