Sigma Nu
Delta Omicron Chapter

Delta Omicron continues to provide a place to develop those same skills for success in today’s competitive world.
As we continue the second phase of the Delta Omicron's Charitable Foundation Fundraising efforts, we ask you all to reflect on your days at Sigma Nu, and to think of how formative those years were to you. Those brothers who were there long before us were mostly unseen, and certainly the time, money and efforts they dedicated to the formation, original construction, and numerous remodels of the chapter house were often taken for granted by most of us. All the Delta Omicron brothers before us provided us with a living legacy. That legacy helped make each of us, in part, who we are today. Now that legacy is ours to pass on.
DEFINITION: LEGACY: An interconnection across time, with a need for those who have come before us and a responsibility to those who come after us.
The Delta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity has created, nurtured and strengthened a legacy of honor for young men at the University of Idaho over the last 100 years. Since our founding in 1915, the chapter has pledged over 1,700 brothers who have gone on to successful careers in business, law, medicine and countless other endeavors.
While distinguishing ourselves as leaders in politics, athletics, our professions and our communities, as alumni we have carried a common bond of brotherhood with us. We have built on the shared principles and values that were shaped during our years at the Sigma Nu house in Moscow.
For most of us, the roots of our personal success can be traced to one place: Sigma Nu. The training we received through our fraternity, including leadership skills, organizational skills, social skills, teamwork, and character, has been integral to our personal success.
